As equestrians, what is more beautiful than the bond we share with our equine partners? Horses bring so much joy to our lives and what better way to memorialize them than a fine art portrait session.
Every horse (and rider) has their own personality and I strive to capture your unique relationship. So we’ll start with your personal consultation over the phone. We will design your perfect Portrait Session from wardrobe to location.
On the day of your session, we’ll bring our vision to life with (optional) hair and make-up provided by one of my amazing beauty partners. My 30 years experience with horses has helped me to know exactly how to get those perfect shots! I’ll guide you every step of the way through our session, and I promise you, you’re going to have a blast!

Hey Equestrians! I’m Rachel the owner and lead photographer of Lux Amore Photography. I have been an equestrian for almost 30 years and horses will always be my first love! I’ve had many different horses come in and out of my life over the years, but I recently got my “heart horse” back and he’s 22 years old now! You’d never know it though, he’s as fiery as ever… Aside from photography, I spend most of my free weekends trail riding. I can’t wait to meet you and your heart horse!
