I work with your wedding planner or coordination team to prioritize what matters most to you, so photography enhances your celebration rather than making the day feel like one long photoshoot.

Do we need to know how to pose for wedding photos?

Not at all! You don't need modeling experience to have beautiful wedding photographs. I'll offer gentle direction and natural prompts that help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, creating romantic portraits without forcing the moment. I also leave plenty of room for spontaneous laughter, affectionate glances, and the little interactions that make your relationship uniquely yours.

Is an engagement photography session included in your wedding packages?

Yes! All of our wedding photography collections include a complimentary engagement session. It's a wonderful opportunity to get to know one another and celebrate your relationship. By the time your wedding day arrives, you'll already be familiar with our approach and know what to expect.

Do you provide a second photographer for weddings?

Yes, a second photographer is included in our top collection and can be added to any of our collections. Having another photographer allows us to capture different perspectives and document moments happening simultaneously, from getting-ready candids to guest reactions and the ceremony. Together, we can tell a more complete story of your wedding day.

How many wedding photos will we receive and when will they be delivered?

Your final gallery is carefully curated to tell the story of your wedding day and we believe in quality over quantity. We generally deliver 50-75 images per hour of coverage. Your gallery will be delivered a maximum of 2 months after your wedding date.

Do you offer wedding albums?

Yes! Every wedding couple receives a custom-designed luxury leather wedding album featuring a curated selection of photo’s that tell the story of their celebration. These archival-quality albums are designed to become treasured family heirlooms, allowing you to experience your wedding memories in a beautiful, tangible form for generations to come.

Can we order fine art wedding prints and wall art?

Absolutely. In addition to your digital gallery, Lux Amore Photography offers professionally produced prints and wall art through an online print shop. Your wedding photographs deserve to be enjoyed beyond a computer screen. From statement artwork to smaller framed prints, you can turn your favorite moments into meaningful pieces for your home.

Where do you photograph weddings and elopements?

Lux Amore Photography’s home base is Chattanooga, TN and we serve couples throughout East Tennessee, including Knoxville, Nashville, Atlanta and the Smoky Mountains. Whether you're planning an elegant city celebration, a romantic mountain adventure or a sophisticated venue wedding surrounded by family and friends, we’ll work with you to create fine art photographs that reflect your vision and capture the setting.

Do you travel for destination weddings? Do you charge a travel fee?

Yes, we travel up to 3 hours (by car) from Chattanooga, TN with no additional travel fee. We do occasionally travel throughout the South East to cities such as Savannah, GA, Asheville, NC, New Orleans, LA and Palm Beach, FL with travel fee depending on accommodations and travel distance.

Do you photograph intimate weddings and elopements as well?

Yes, in fact we offer all-inclusive Elopement packages that include photography, videography, officiating/legal paperwork completed, hair & makeup, and florals.

Do you photograph LGBTQ+ weddings?

Absolutely, we are an LGBTQ-owned and operated company and are passionate about supporting our community. Your love matters and LGBTQ+ couples deserves to feel celebrated, respected and comfortable with their wedding photographer. We also maintain a preferred vendor list that is LGBTQ owned or allied.
